In September this year, EcoAct will be setting foot in the US market with the opening of an office in New York. To kick-start this American adventure, EcoAct will attend the Sustainable Investment Forum (Sinv) on September 20th taking place during Climate Week, at the Westin New York at Times Square.
Sinv gathers top international speakers to drive the dialogue on the development of effective public- private funding mechanisms for scaling low-carbon innovation to achieve the goals of the Paris Agreement.
William Theisen, Business Development Director of EcoAct will take part in the conference to discuss the influence of the private sector on the development and implementation of low carbon technologies, alongside Mindy Lubber, President of Ceres, Simon Irish, CEO of Terrestrial Energy and Kyung-Ah Park, Managing Director and Head of Environmental Markets of Goldman Sachs.
The Sustainable Investment Forum is organized by Climate Action. Together with the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP), Climate Action builds partnerships between business, government and public bodies to accelerate international sustainable development and the green economy.
As the official carbon offset partner of Sinv, EcoAct will ensure the event’s carbon neutrality by offsetting the emissions with an internationally certified carbon reduction project.[/fusion_text]
