Act locally to protect the environment

Programs around the world

Our "Planet in Solidarity" Projects :

In order to also act locally on the national territory, EcoAct chose to select and develop programs based on local solidarity in France, Burkina Faso, Mexico, Brasil et Ecuador.

Those programs include restoration of rivers and riverbanks, of neglected green spaces, roadsides, and forests.

It is also important to act locally to preserve or restore our environment if, for instance, we consider the level of water contamination in France :
  • 50 to 75% of the total water supply is contaminated

  • 25% is at risk.

A company can choose to act by helping to finance a site restoration project, for instance by selecting a local area where its activity has an impact on the environment.

All of our « Earth & People » projects call upon disadvantaged people in reinsertion by providing them with jobs through the local associations that EcoAct partners with.

EcoAct also implements Team-building events that include training in urban ecology and responsible civic action for your employees. Friendly and dynamic, these action days bring your employees together around strong commitment values, while encouraging the team spirit.

EcoAct organizes the Eco-solidarity Days in partnership with reinsertion local associations that help disadvantaged people.  Their goal: experiment an ecological management of urban environment, while creating insertion jobs for disadvantaged people.

On the agenda:

Your employees will be trained in urban ecology and then perform responsible civic action, for half a day or a full day on site. Supervisory staff includes EcoAct people and members from the reinsertion local association.

Objectives and actions :

  • Environmental rehabilitation of a damaged area, bringing up its ecological advantages (biodiversity protection, invasive plants uprooting…)

  • Garbage pick-up on the intervention area

  • Creation of « ecological niches »: dead wood pick-up, collection and bundling to create protected area for the local wildlife.
